It’s funny how my favourite website builder for years scored so low here. Lol

I am an experienced and tech savvy marketer and have worked with agencies, built websites, worked with web designers and I now use Wix for my husband's business and find it amazing. I am always amazed by how easy it is to use and how professional everything looks. I honestly don't understand all the bad reviews. I had used Wordpress before Wix.com and reviewed Squarespace before I went with Wix and found that neither were as easy to use or as comprehensive. Grant it, we don't have huge volumes of traffic (600 visitors a month) but it does everything we need and more and we have a fully functioning e-commerce site as part of it. We appear to be doing well from an SEO perspective (without a blog) so all in all no complaints. I've been on to Wix support maybe once and got a response but generally have no problems. This is our 3 year using Wix. Can't recommend it highly enough. Only gave it 4 stars because there wasn't an option to give 4.5 and 5 seems too much for any tool!

I think I’m having a problem with my ssl cause mainly they’ve been nobody trying to reach me coming through, if you try to reach my domain name you get redirected to another website which isn’t even related to mine, trust me have called countless times to lay complains about this and till now they’ve been no response or whatsoever ever from their support team, and when trying to reach the support team you always get ignored, stay off this dudes they not willing to help you honestly, have migrated my domain name with help from cyber tech support, after we spoke through 12012979269....they migrated me over with ease...

Massive thanks to Wix and their customer engagement. I had a query, asked on Twitter and had a response and resolution within hours. Wix is now powering our nonprofit site and has made our lives (and the lives of our vulnerable community) so much better. Thanks for the human touch, it's often lacking in big business :)

I have had absolutely no problems with Wix, i have received a lot of compliments about how visual and easy to use my website is. The online payments system is easy to use and once set up you don't really need to think about it, it's far cheaper and less complicated to use than my previous website through Square Space. I can update my events and edit my site pretty quickly from my mobile and I think the templates for marketing campaigs and customer emails are fantastic. They've saved me an awful lot of work. I had a few problems online with the upload of my video course and rang the customer service team who resolved the issue within about an hour, they were brilliant on the phone and really helpful all in all so I can't understand why so many people have posted reviews saying there is no customer service.

Upon my last issue, I have got in touch with their customer service and they made sure to explain the issue best they could. I feel much better about everything once it was worked out. I was a bit worried at first, but they had a wonderful response time and were very helpful towards it all.

I can honestly say that the WIX team have been nothing but helpful with my website and have supported me through the challenges of starting my business. I was suprised by seeing all the negative reviews but reading them I can see that alot of the 1 stars (not all of them) are coming from profiles with just 1 review to their name - a obvious sign of fake accounts and competitor strategies to undermine a perfectly good business - no qualms with the company here :)

I'm very surprised to see such a low rating of this company, it should be much higher to my opinion.

I had trouble with my store. Launching new products The first person that I spoke to wasn't as thorough as he should have been in hind site.. When I called back the next day I spoke to lady by the name of Anna who was very patient with me. She was brilliant in how she figured out what I had done wrong. Resolved the issue because she knew what she was doing. Keep this young lady! The call back are very quick. Both days I got call back within 2 minutes. That's great service! I've been with wix for several years and am absolutely happy with what they offer and service is great.

I have to say I have found Wix generally fantastic to deal with. I'm not sure some of the posters here realise the user friendliness and powerful features - particularly the online shop/ecommerce ones - that Wix offer at an incredibly reasonable price. Try using some of the other platforms out there and see how you get on. I have and I guarantee you they won't beat Wix for ease of use or customer support. Speaking of customer support, they have always contacted me with a reply to my query within an hour or two - never more - and it was always something that I had overlooked that had caused the problem in the first place. I find some of the reviews on this site quite shocking actually and in no way representative of the views of any of the Wix users I know. I personally have built over 25 sites, including many ecommerce ones, and I will continue to be a loyal customer of theirs in the future.
