A great app for anyone who wants to learn a new language! Easy and simple to use

I have tried three teachers and I think I've found the one who will help me the most at a cost I can afford. We'll have our second session tomorrow and I hope to get a clear and efficient path forward. The iTalki interface was a little intimidating at first but once I got it figured out it works fine. Because I live in an area where there are (apparently) no native Portugues speakers I really need what iTalki provides

I booked 5 lessons, very happy I tried it, and will probably book some other lessons soon.

iTalki has connected me with an excellent instructor who is patient, fun and conscientious. And I can actually afford it! Love it, will keep using this app for all my language learning.

I really enjoy Italki. There are quite a few qualified teachers on the website. I also love that Italki offers languages that aren't commonly taught outside of the country of origin. I plan to use this site for a long time.

Finding the right English teacher for my 10 yo son took sometime but once it happened it was like magic. He started to get confidence and he enjoys learning English.

I have used two fantastic teachers for learning French. The value is exceptional. I wished that I had started with iTalki when I first heard about it a couple of years ago. It fits my schedule, there is no pressure. It is easy to communicate and make appointments. I am very happy to recommend iTalki to anyone wanting to get great tutors at a very reasonable price.

I have always enjoyed learning languages, and have been delighted with iTalki since discovering it about three years ago. The platform is easy to use, even for a relative oldie like myself. It can perhaps best be described as a meeting place for language students and teachers. For students like me, the real beauty of iTalki is that you can search for and meet teachers of almost any language who are available to match your own schedule, and within your own budget. iTalki charges a commission of about 4% on the fees students pay to teachers, which given what iTalki can offer language learners is extremely reasonable. Naturally, some teachers are better than others, but in my experience this represents the difference between good and excellent. I have now clocked up over 300 hours of lessons with iTalki, and I have never had an issue to report on the platform. I have taken language lessons with teachers on other similar platforms, but none have offered the huge choice of languages and teachers that iTalki does, and certainly not the ease of use of iTalki. In short, look no further: iTalki is brilliant!

It's a very useful, practical tool. Dashboard easy to use. Easy to research teachers, and chat with them. Will continue on the platform.

It's great that there are many teachers and you'll be able to find the most suitable for you. I wish that the videos of the teachers are shorter. Also, learning Spanish now, but I want to find someone who doesn't speak English. If you could create a filter to exclude language that teachers speak, that's be great.
