Boot issue

I had a product issue which was taken care of by Elizabeth in the warranty department, by telling me they would take care of me. I was not expecting to be treated as well as I was. My whole family owns jackets and boots and we are a life long customer family because of how we were treated with my boot issue. They have great products and excellent customer service. To put this in perspective, I had a product issue with a pair of sunglasses with a major company, and they would not do a thing, not even tell me that I could ship them back and they would fix them for a price, which would have been great. Just said they couldn't do anything. Thank you Columbia!

see through and thinner than paper

bought a windbreaker in white its see through so i have to wear a white top underneath the material is super comfortable and it looks really nice but u may as well go out with no top on because its thinner than paper white i don't like true to size and good delivery a bit disappointed since i can only wear it in warm weather which is basically only summer so overall its a 3 wouldn't order from here again tho

Bought first Columbia jacket 25 years ago.

Bought my first Columbia jacket 25years ago in Toronto!!!Still have it, Had few hiccups with this initial order, re Xmas and Brexit , Covid 19. However returned first jacket , too small and re ordered larger one . Arrived today , a day early with UPS. Lovely jacket just what I wanted. Lets hope it lasts as long as last one.Too many negative comments !

I placed my order on December 20th

I placed my order on December 20th. It was shipped on the 21st, and the ETA was on the 29th. The website provided tracking but it wasn't updated at all since they shipped my package through USPS, not UPS. I had to go the the USPS website to track my package. I received the items later than the ETA on the 31st. I expected the delay because of the holiday rush and COVID19, and the extra two day wait wasn't bad at all. I was a little worried because of the bad reviews on this site, but thankfully I received my order.

Great products poor warranty decision to destroy my coat without my permission.

Great products, poor warranty service. I purchased a winter coat in 2010 and have loved it every day I wore it. The zipper understandably began to fail about last winter. I brought the coat to the place of purchase, Sports Experts in Canmore, Alberta Canada. I showed the sales rep my coat and described the problem. The zipper is broken and I would like to see if Columbia would fix it. And if they can't, No Problem, I will take it to a seamstress and have a new zipper sown in. Pretty simple instructions. I brought it in October 2018. I decided to call to find out how the repair was going two weeks ago. I spoke to a manager at Sports Experts in Canmore, and he said that he would follow up. The coat has been sent to Columbia for warranty repair, but he should know something in a week or two. Today I got a call from the "Warranty Manager" at Sports Experts in Canmore. He told me that Columbia agreed to give me $125 because they couldn't fix it. And that I could not have my coat back. WHAT?I never gave them my coat. I asked for warranty repair. The Warranty Manager told me that there was nothing they could do about my coat, and that they offer the $115 to make up for the loss. I said I want my coat back. The manager called Columbia and came back telling me that my perfectly good coat with a bad spot in the zipper had been destroyed. They destroyed my coat without my permission offering only $115 to make up for the loss. That coat cannot be replaced for $115 Canadian. I am devastated to lose that coat. They don't make them anymore, and I won't be able to replace it for less than $300. I want to talk to Columbia directly to see if it is possible my coat can be rescued.

having had v bad experiences with lots of companies esp online, it's always great to come across one that gives great service, including Ellis Brigham, Berghaus and now Columbia.Great products and even better customer service.I ordered a Rainscape waterproof, great jacket, good bargain, arrived promptly, frindly efficient courier, kept informed online all time, v quick order/invoice confirmation.Having encountered overseas sizing, esp Asian, I ordered an extremely large one just in case; turns out Columbia's sizing is accurate, so it was too big.I rang the customer care no expecting to have to go through endless hoops, endless confusing options, ending up speaking to a machine & getting nowhere, but no - bliss!I was connected extremely quickly to an efficient, v helpful & friendly real human being who listened carefully - rare these days - solved the issue by organising a courier collection from my home so I could return said jacket, advised me about ordering a replacement in a smaller size, checked it was in stock, forwarded me all the neccessary forms etc, all in the space of a few minutes despite the fact she was speaking from France!Amazing!And she was friendly & helpful at the same time!Courier arrived exactly as arranged & confirmed, frindly, efficient & helpful too.I went on to order replacement waterproof and another jacket also a bargain, kept informed up to date.Thank you to Anais and UPS courier; coming across these excellent people & companies - including Berghaus, Ellis Brigham, & non-outdoor wine suppliers Majestic Wine - helps restore my fading faith in good service!

Poor customer services is the main…

Poor customer services is the main problem with them . 4 emails and no reply , telephone number says not in use . Delivery took 5 days so ok by UPS but was delayed as they didn’t give UPS the parcel . Received in the end , nice quality shirt however was promoted as non iron and I had to iron it as so badly creased when arrived which makes me wonder about their quality control ? Or non . Worth a purchase if really want it and not spending allot .
