Excellent service

Ordered three items,two fitted beautifully but unfortunately had to send one back.Really pleased how quickly they responded to receiving the item back and am sure I will get refund back soon.Will definitely use again.

Yasmin was really helpful and understanding. Her service is the best I have received from the company in years. Hold on to people like her because you don’t find many in customer services. She was polite and friendly and professional through out the call!

Excellent 24/7 service

Excellent 24/7 service. I ordered online and experienced problem with the payment method (not their fault). I emailed them at night not expecting a response and received a helpful email within an hour advising me what to do next. I resolved the issue and received the goods within 24 hours, nicely packaged.I then experienced another issue with PayPal and again they responded immediately at night and resolved it.The emails were personable with very clear communication. Its still quite rare to experience a 24/7 customer service and even more so for it to be delivered so efficiently, with a human on the other side. Well done to the customer care team!

Andrew Collinge @ Trafford Centre

My review is on the Andrew Collinge hairdresser at Manchester Trafford centre. I think the staff in there are just amazing! The receptionist is lovely & welcoming every time we visit. My son has his hair done by Emma who is just the best! We have never been disappointed with our visits & just wanted to say a huge thank you! It’s hard to keep smiling at the moment with everything that is going on but the staff always brighten our day with their exceptional customer care & fantastic haircuts Xx

Ordered online yesterday and delivered today - great stuff !

Ordered the last in stock OONI pizza oven yesterday and arrived today. Order updates from Selfridges and DPD until the driver delivered it at the suggested time on a Sunday !. All good in my opinion and would use again.

Top notch customer service

I am not sure why there are so many negative feedback here. My own personal experience is extremely pleasant with Selfridges!I tried to get a Selfridges exclusive spirit which is extremely rare. Contacted Jing at the Wine and Spirit department in London and Jing went out of her way to help me secure a bottle which I am super happy about. I could not praise Jing's professionalism and enthusiasm more than I ever could. She could have just told me its out of stock and leave it there but instead she spent all the time on the phone and helped me to get a bottle.Thank you very much again Jing and I will definitely buy from Selfridges again. Its this kind of customer service that get you customer loyalty and I just can't see how any other large retailer matching this customer service!!

No Delivery No Refund & Shocking …

Since writing my review I have been in contact with customer service who have been very helpful and understanding; restoring some faith back in the company - 3 stars overall but 4 stars for treatment after the review!No Delivery No Refund & Shocking ServiceOrdered an item online with next day delivery (as it was a Christmas present) and the next day we received nothing. Hoping it may just be coming later that day we called up the delivery company (DPD) who told us that they hadn't received it and to contact the retailer. Called Selfridges and the girl on the phone was not very helpful and even told us that it still might come that night although after a bit of questioning and digging we later came to the conclusion that it was nigh on impossible that it would be delivered. With her information we would have been waiting in all night for nothing which would have further rubbed salt in the wound.The only saving grace was when we asked to speak with a manager. He actually seemed like he cared and quickly told us that waiting in would be pointless as it would not be delivered that night and he refunded the next day delivery charge before we had got round to asking.Day 2 Kept checking with the delivery update but DPD app kept saying the item had not been received. More calls on the phone - this time we spent 1 hour and 12 minutes in the queue and then the automated voice asked us to choose from the menu options (those which you get at the beginning of the call to put you through to the correct department) my only guess here is that our call had been reset and put us back to the end of the phone queue - at which point i took out my other phone and filmed it for proof as it was quite unbelievable - we later spoke to another supervisor and I asked her to call us with updates rather than us having to call them which she agreed to - we got one update the next day (an update to say there was no update basically) and that is all we've had.10 days later.....Still no sign of the item - we have since given up on delivery and actually went and bought it from store a few days ago to have it in time to give as a gift - we even spoke to the guys at the collection point there who tried to help us with getting our refund but said that we'd have to call up about it.Fair enough - deliveries can be delayed I get that it's fine, refunds can take a while to process, I get that too it's also fine - some customer service reps are rubbish and just do as they're told - I even get that too!My issue is that we haven't even had the item, nor has the delivery company and we've handed over the money. Selfridges don't seem to be interested in getting to the bottom of this issue and have refused to refund us until they get the results of an investigation. I think this is bizarre - because if we had the item and then decided to return it - fair play they would want to make sure they got it back and checked it's okay, but it's not even come to us and not even got to DPD - why should we leave our money with Selfridges who don't seem to be keen on getting this dealt with quickly - and why would they when they're holding our money? If it was the other way around and Selfridges gave all their customers products - and the customers all promised to pay, but didn't - Selfridges bills wouldn't get paid, new stock couldn't be ordered, staff wouldn't get paid and the shops would close. Why is it okay to do it the other way to us, the customer?After speaking with a lady on the phone today (another call we've had to make) it's still clear that DPD haven't received the item and that Selfridges only look into the matter whenever we call them. All the while we're out of pocket with bills and other things to pay for at this time of year.I've had to practically beg the lady on the phone to speak with a supervisor or manager 3 times - each time she comes back to say they're busy but even if they weren't they'd say the same thing.I finally managed to speak with a senior member of staff who has finally been able to find a solution but even this hasn't cleared away the bad taste from what we'd hoped would be excellent service that you'd expect from the Selfridges name. I honestly don't mind paying a little extra for great customer service and experience but with the way this has gone I ask myself why am I choosing to pay a little more when this is the service I get?I've spent over 3 hours on the phone in total (a lot of which has been bad service)Additional time and money to buy the item from the store as well as spending 40 minutes with the collection team there.Still haven't had a refund (plus they wanted me to wait for them to find out what's gone wrong on their end - sorry but that's not the customer's problem and shouldn't be at my expense Selfridges)I now have to spend time writing this review and don't normally go to these extremes, but as I've already wasted so much more time I think it's fair to tell people the truth about your 'service'!With the latest shopping experience I think I will take my future business elsewhere!

A Noisome Pestilence

The Lower Ground floor of Selfridges store on Oxford St was a shrine to all things excuisite. From fine wines and a myriad of spirits to the finest Cuban cigars; Fine Bone China, Crystal and Table Ware. If all that was not enough, electronic gadgets of all kinds or perhaps browse through the more traditional book department.All of this could be finished off with the finest Afternoon Tea served near the escalators, making an easy, repleat ride up to the ground floor and home.BUT NO MOREimagine my dismay as I discended the escalator for an hour in paradise yesterday as the noise, better suited to a basement of nightclub than these hallowed halls, grew louder and louder.Nowhere on that floor could I escape it but the greatest tragedy of all was the speakers facing into that peaceful area where I expected to restore myself with tea and scones.Mr Selfridges, if you're reading, do urge your 'descendants in store' to rid us all of this noisome pestilence.
