Just perfect. I was very lucky to look online at Selfridges last week when 20% was offered off designer handbags. I have had a particular YSL handbag on my wish list for over a year and I’m delighted to say that I was able to order my dream handbag along with YSL purse and saved just under £400.My order was delivered safely today after receiving dispatch details yesterday.Both my items arrived in perfect condition and very well packaged.Thank you Selfridges. I look forward to receiving my next order which was placed a couple of days after this order 5*****

I have ordered from Selfridges a couple of times because of their amazing prices and I've had no issues with the products I received so far. Plus, the packing is superb! The only downside is that they will charge you the duties and taxes in advance and if you decided to return an item due to size or other reasons (except for damaged/faulty items), they will NOT refund it to you. So be careful before ordering clothes or shoes. Go to a store and try them on first (if available in your country) then get the good deal that Selfridges offer. Regarding their return process, I returned a Canada Goose jacket and got my refund soon right after they emailed me, confirming that they have received the item. The only issue I had was the 50 USD worth of duties and taxes that was never returned. I tried raising my concern to one of their customer support staff and all she told me was they can't do anything about it as it is written on their 'return policy'. So again, make sure you know exactly what you're purchasing or else you'll lose some money. But overall, I still do like ordering from Selfridges. Their prices are unbeatable and I love how they pack the items. The shipping is pretty fast, too (only takes about 3-4 days to Japan).

Customer service could be better

I don’t get why so many people have such bad experience with Selfridges. I ordered an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. It has arrived 2 days later than expected, but that’s not a big deal. Exactly one week after I ordered it, the item has arrived to me. However, the parcel was broken - I didn’t know how and when it happened, but I opened it in the presence of a kind courier, so that I have a witness in case something was wrong. I did that after I read the reviews here that some items got stolen, others never arrived, etc. I was kinda going crazy when the parcel hasn’t arrived on time, I kept in mind the 1-star-reviews from this website. My order was complete, the item which I ordered was perfectly fine and the exact one which I wanted, so I cannot say anything bad about that and would gladly give Selfridges 5 stars for that. Unfortunately, neither me nor the guys from customer service could track my parcel, which i definitely confusing. GFor that I take 1 star back. However, as I mentioned before, the package was broken at some point, one could literally hold it and grab the inside of the parcel. Maybe someone opened it because they were trying to find something, but luckily the parcel was ultralight and there was a lot of paper hiding the actual small gift, so maybe they thought that the parcel has been emptied before and only the paper was left - luckily for me :) Of course these are just my loud thoughts, I‘m not accusing anyone. Anyways, I guess I dare to say that I cannot trust the company which was responsible for delivery at all. Since I saw that the delivery is provided by the „Selfridges Deliveries“, therefore I take another stars back. Bad thing is if you order something to another country, the customer service cannot tell you which local company took your order which is bad too. They take your number and promise to call you back but never do so.Long story short: My item has arrived without any bigger delay but considering the fact that my parcel was broken, I guess I was lucky. However, treating your customer in an excellent way has nothing to do with luck, therefore only 3 stars.

I recently purchased clothing items from Selfridges. I was concerned there would be issues based on the terrible star rating on here but my experience was excellent. Not only did I get the items at a great price with free delivery, they arrived super fast (despite it being during covid 19). One item was unsuitable and again was worried that it would take weeks to get a refund, but they were so quick. A couple of days. One of the best shopping experiences I've had online.

Update:As promised if this matter was resolved I would alter my review.I just received my parcel at the original price I paid with the size I wanted. Service greatly improved, thrilled with my purchase.Previous:I could it would be zero stars for the service I have received so far.A few days ago I purchased a ring for £950 in a size 53mm. I was unsure at the time of the size but the size I wanted was out of stock so thought I would give the smaller one a bash and see.A couple of days later I noticed they had a size 55mm in stock, I was absolutely delighted and phoned Selfridges to cancel my original order as I had no confirmation this had been dispatched. I called early on the Sunday morning and they were not sure if I could be cancelled and had to get through to another department. Unfortunately, I was too late and the following day the parcel was despatched. I was very understanding about this and was advised by the service advisor to refuse delivery and it would be returned to sender for a refund.I decided to purchase the 55mm just incase it went out of stock.Yesterday the parcel for the 53mm was refused as per instructed.This morning I get an email to tell me that the 55mm is out of stock and they were sincerely sorry for any disappointment caused. I could accept this if they haven't increased the price and now had x 4 55mm in stock along with a whole stock more of other sizes previously unavailable.To day I was curious was an understatement. I spoke to Ty this morning who advised sometimes stock levels can be wrong. I understand this, I worked in retail and sometimes computers get it wrong. However, in less than 10 days the stock level changed from 0 to 1 to 4 and it's interesting how there should be more available now the price has increased.My complaint has been passed on apparently and I am awaiting a response. So far I am £1910 (includes two lots of delivery) down with no rings and feeling utter frustration. I called again a few hours later as I would have expected this to be dealt with rather swiftly. I was told it could take 24 hours and there is no guarantee even if they do have this in stock that they would honour the original price.If this is rectified and dealt with appropriately (aka source a 55mm ring at £950 original) I will of course change my review but I'm not holding my breath!

We visited Selfridges on Saturday to purchase a bottle of Jo Malone for a xmas gift. Rory the assistant was most helpful with his knowledge of the products. Thought I knew alot about Jo Malone. Lol. Nothing was to much trouble. We came away with our purchase and a little sample of hand cream, which made our day. I will definitely be going back, hopefully Rory will be there to assist again .x
